Compass
Compass is our most hands-on level of support, with weekly in-home visits for the moments your family needs it most. Following the Isle Method, designed by our founder, we listen, build and grow with you, creating personalised routines that truly work for your family.
For new parents
Parenthood is a whole new world, and it’s natural to feel overwhelmed. From establishing gentle sleep and feeding routines with your newborn to preparing your home and working alongside the right nanny, we help new parents start out feeling calm, confident and supported.
For families with toddlers
Toddlerhood brings big changes and even bigger feelings. Whether it’s a little one who fights every bedtime, melts down each time you leave the playground, or has suddenly gone backwards with potty training after a new sibling arrives, we work alongside you and your nanny to understand what’s really going on and build calm, consistent routines that help everyone through it.
For families preparing for pre-K
Starting pre-K is a big step for little ones, and for parents too. We help your child feel confident, capable and excited for school: practising calm, predictable goodbyes, building the independence pre-K expects, from toileting and handwashing to putting on their own coat, and developing the social skills to share, take turns and find the words for big feelings. Alongside this, we nurture a love of learning through stories, conversation and playful early literacy and numbers. Working with you and your nanny, we adjust routines to make the move to school feel natural, and for families preparing for school assessments or playdate visits, we help your child feel relaxed and ready to show who they truly are.
How it works
Every Compass engagement begins with an Isle Assessment. From there, we visit your home every week, listening to your concerns and offering hands-on guidance, so even the biggest challenges start to feel small.

What’s included
Weekly support in your home
Your dedicated consultant visits every week, observing routines, working hands-on with your child and coaching you and your nanny in the moment, when it matters most.
Every recommendation is grounded in what your child is genuinely capable of at this stage, drawing on the early years framework our consultants are trained in.
Developmental, not quick fixes
After each visit you’ll receive clear written plans and routines, so you, your nanny and everyone caring for your child are working from the same page.
A plan made for your family
You’ll have direct access to your consultant throughout. As things settle, we’ll help you step down to Lighthouse or Mooring when you’re ready.

Every family’s needs are different, so we’ll help you decide. Most families start with an advisory call, where we talk through what’s happening at home and what you’d like support with. From there, we’ll arrange your Isle Assessment, which gives us a full picture of your child, your routines and your household, and lets us suggest the level that suits you best. Your level isn’t fixed: as your child grows and your needs change, you can step up for more hands-on support or move to a lighter level whenever it feels right.

Every family’s journey with Isle begins with the Isle Assessment. Over two weeks, we spend time in your home during the moments that matter, observing how your child plays, eats and settles, and talking with you and your nanny about what’s working and what feels hard. We look at your child’s development as a whole, from routines and independence to communication and emotions, alongside the rhythm of your household. From there, we recommend the level of support that best suits your family, so everything that follows is tailored to you from the very start. The Assessment is included when you join any level, or $2,000 as a one-off.

Isle isn’t an agency, and we never replace your nanny. Instead, we give both you and your nanny the tools and support needed to create a developmentally appropriate environment for your child at home. We work alongside your family, offering experienced advice and plans tailored to you, to make family life that little bit easier. We help build a strong, balanced partnership between you, and if challenges arise, we offer a neutral, supportive voice to help you find a way forward. Our aim is to align your household, creating a space where everyone can thrive.
-
In the early stages, you’ll work directly with our founder, Sofia Parish, a Norland-trained early years professional with over a decade of experience in private households across the UK and US. As Isle grows, families may also work with consultants trained in the Isle approach and supported by Sofia. Isle prioritises keeping the same consultant with your family wherever possible.
-
While our expertise is rooted in the early years, we work with families with children from birth up to age eight. We also advise expectant parents, helping them plan their childcare needs and prepare for the best possible start to family life.
-
Yes. Family life rarely stays the same for long, so our levels are designed to move with you. Many families begin with more hands-on support and step down to a lighter level as routines settle, then step back up when a new stage arrives, such as a new sibling or starting school. We’ll review your support with you regularly and recommend changes whenever your needs shift, so you’re never paying for more than you need or managing with less.
